J’ai dévoré le petit livre, non seulement pour l’intérêt propre autour de la figure de Le Corbusier mais aussi comme un exemple des dérives terribles que peuvent entraîner la combinaison des réseaux sociaux et de notre snobisme ou paresse intellectuelle. Car chacun de nous risque malheureusement un jour d’être complice involontaire de ce type de cabale (je n’avais par exemple vu que du feu lors de l’exposition Charlotte Perriand à la Fondation Louis Vuitton). Donc : lisons, allons au fond des choses, questionnons, employons les mots justes et pas ceux qu’on met dans notre bouche…!

I devoured the short book, not only for the inherent interest surrounding the figure of Le Corbusier, but also as a striking example of the dire excesses that can result from combining social media with our own intellectual snobbery or laziness. Indeed, any of us unfortunately risks becoming an unwitting accomplice to this kind of smear campaign (for instance, I was completely taken in by the Charlotte Perriand exhibition at the Louis Vuitton Foundation). Je suis émue chaque fois que je visite la Villa. Je pourrais la visiter 10 fois, j'aurais toujours de l'émotion.
Villa "Le Lac" is maybe my favourite achitecture by Le Corbusier.

Great to see you and the team yesterday, and to witness your hosting talents (again!)! I and the gentleman that happened to join in with me had a great engaged hostess (Tasnim) taking us around and some time on the benches! You have truly raised the profile of Villa "Le Lac", Patrick. All your years there and diligent efforts. And Tasnim is a "card" as we say.....totally engaged to the cause.
The lake is four meters from the window, and the road behind is four meters from the door. The area to be maintained is three hundred square meters, in exchange for which one gains an incomparable and inalienable view of one of the world's most beautiful horizons.
